Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry

Conflict management is an essential module if you are pursuing a career in the Private Security Industry. Effectively resolving conflicts help avert violence in an organisation, reduces costly incidents, contributes to the overall health of an organisation, and improves productivity.

This module provides trainees with proven, reliable, and business-focused approaches that help to manage complicated security situations. With proper training in conflict management, a security expert will successfully diffuse issues when dealing with uncooperative individuals.

Security Officers who pursue this unit will not only learn how to defuse situations but also how to enforce rules. For Security Officers, Door Supervisors and other Security Personnel, this module will help them to understand how to refuse entry to customers, eject customers from a venue with minimum fuss, and spot, manage and approach incidents in a venue before and during escalation.
